Post- Christmas and Snow!

This last week we went to a Festival of Lights for our family date. The city filled one of the parks with TONS of different Christmas lights.

Nathan loved it! He kept saying “lights!” “LIGHTS!” It was really pretty. They had everything from poinsettias, to dinosaurs (in the picture), to castles, to the nativity.

This past week we also celebrated Sean’s birthday complete with triple chocolate mousse cake, which is to die for. If you don’t have the recipe, I will send it to you and you have to try it. It is our favorite cake recipe by far.

If how much Nathan likes a particular food item is indicated by how far it is spread over his face, he LOVES the triple chocolate cake too.

Some other things we did this week: Nathan and Sean fixed the vacuum!

And played in the snow!

Here is Nathan’s first snowman!

It was his idea to use a vertical stick instead of buttons.

Daniel was sick this week with a cold, but he is growing fast. Already a month old!
