Today was the Wymount Opening Social. They had TONS of activities for kids. Nathan’s favorite activity was visiting the emergency trucks that they had there.
They were letting the kids climb in and on them. Nathan also participated in the rubber ducky race. They had hooked up a large tub to the fire hydrant and filled it with water. Then, they had the kids put their numbered duck in the water and they turned on the hydrant. When the pool over flowed, the ducks fell onto a slip n’ slide like stream and they raced down to the bottom of the hill. If you duck was one of the first three ducks to make it to the bottom, then you won a prize. Nathan choose a little rubber duck that was painted like a knight.
He also had a ‘Y’ painted on his face, won a cupcake at the cake walk, and had fun fishing and doing other small activities. He was also able to enjoy his first snow cone and now his face is dyed blue.
Unfortunately, Sean was not able to go with us because he was sick. But we had a lot of fun!
